Amy is a compassionate and devoted nurse practitioner, who is excited to be joining the United Doctors team. She is an alumnus of the University of North Alabama and is Board Certified by ANCC. She is committed to making quality healthcare available to all individuals regardless of their ability to pay, socioeconomic background, cultural beliefs, or language barriers. She is fluent in Spanish and has had a heartfelt calling to serve the Latino community all her life. Amy observed both of her parents advocate and assist underserved immigrant communities throughout her childhood, and it was there that the seed was planted that she would continue to serve those in need.

 Amy is experienced in leading healthcare teams and enjoys developing young healthcare workers and assisting them with continuing to excel and climb into other roles. She has extensive experience with delivering quality care in multiple settings, including hospitals, emergency rooms, clinics, nursing homes, and has a specific passion for hospice care. Amy is seeking to provide value for both the United Doctors team and the community at large, especially in her role at the Urgent Care Clinic. This position allows her to address and alleviate her patients most concerning needs while simultaneously educating them on the importance of establishing with primary care and empowering them with the information needed to achieve this.

Beyond her professional life, Amy is a devoted mother to her daughter and focuses on balancing her career and her home life as she knows the importance of family and reduction of stress and wants to contribute to this in the lives of her patients and her co-workers.
